There’s a weird, green, double-tailed comet in the sky this week (the last week in February), and you can spot it with a pair of binoculars — even through moderate light pollution. Some people have even been seeing it with their unaided eyes in very dark, rural locations.
The following short video provides pictures of this wonder, complete with a cool musical score.
The story of a little Chinese boy and the discovery of a spectacular heavenly object, complete with audio narration, is provided on the Science@NASA site.
And National Geographic’s reporting of the story is found here.
