On Sunday, December 6, BYU Television will preview a new documentary film on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.
Entitled Messiah: Behold the Lamb of God, it is thought to be the first documentary that covers all phases of the Savior’s life—spanning his premortal life to the resurrection and the restoration of the gospel in modern times.
Produced under the auspices of the Neal A. Maxwell Institute of Religious Scholarship at Brigham Young University and relying heavily on a base of LDS scholars in several fields, the production will affirm the identity of Jesus as the divine Son of God, interpreting his story from a Latter-day Saint perspective.
The complete production will air as a 7-part series beginning on January 10.
